Power of Words

As a young immature teenager I once commented to my mother that at her funeral I was going to sing Ding Dong the Witch is Dead. I know it sounds brutal but it was just me acting like the goof ball I was. But Of course this is the one thing my mother remembers. Recently she asked me if this were still true. Truthfully I've been trying to think of a song that would truly describe my wonderful mother. I've come to the conclusion that there isn't one good enough yet. So this means one of two things: mom better plan on living a really long time or I'll have to compose it myself. I love you mom. I per fer the really long time option. May we all watch what we say, you never know when your words will come back to get you.

Well, thanks, Anna. You made me cry! What else is new, huh? I remember other beautiful words that you have said through the years, too. But the best ones I remember are how you hoped you could be the kind of mother I was to you. We all sure know I wasn't perfect, but I hope that you also never doubt how much I love you. A mother's love is always there and never falters, no matter what! MUH!
