Summer is winding down and I was pondering on the uniqueness of a summer here in North Carolina. Here is the Sisson Families top 20 summer memories.
1. Swimming in our pool in the backyard every day!!!!
2. Lots of Bug Spray.
3. Swimming at the Fort Bragg Normandy Pool.
4. Watermelon.
5. Blueberry cobbler made with hand picked blueberries.
6. Chasing snakes with lawn mower.
7. Watching Adventures of Tom Sawyer outdoors along the Caper River.
8. Reading four books a week!
9. Barnes and Nobles.
10. Library
11. Ponytails.
12. Ice Cold lemonade.
13. Flipflops.
14. Watching people dance and parise the Lord in Walmart parking lot.
15. Driving past a small house that meets to worship on Sundays with people outfront strentching before church services.
16. Front porches.
17. Rocking chairs.
18. Sleep overs.
19. Late nights.
20. Being together as a family!!!!!

Sounds like the perfect summer! I am glad you guys are having a pretty good one.
I can relate to most of those. Don't forget fireflies, gnats and humidity!
